  1. Exactly - there's little point complaining you don't want this feature, as it doesn't get in the way or impair use of Todoist in any way, if you don't use it. It's also incredibly simple to implement, and should be a prerequisite for any webapp like this IMO.

  2. Haha, I don't think there's any danger of that happening...

  3. This would be ace but yes, I very much doubt Amir would do it.
Then again, personally speaking, I would be willing to pay one-off to get the source code, but I'm not really willing to pay for the current subscription.
So maybe it's something for Amir to consider...

  4. God no, web 2.0 for the sake of web 2.0.

  5. True, but you're just abusing the system by giving it 400 votes to prove a point. If we want Amir to listen to us, distorting the voting system (and thus showing everyone else how its done) isn't going to help.

  6. Yeah this functionality is already there, although a more standard shortcut like Control+Enter would be nicer - Control+N always seems a bit awkward to me.

  7. We're talking about moving a whole project to the history, not just tasks...

  8. I use RSS feeds very basically - as dropdown menus on my Firefox bookmarks toolbar. Therefore it would be a lot easier to take a quick look at that instead of loading up Todoist every time I want to see if there's anything I need to be doing. Then if something needs addressing, I'd click on it for more details, etc etc.

  9. IMO this should be a standard feature of a todo list manager.

  10. I lolled.

  11. Yes, or XML etc etc. I know a third party app already does this but I don't trust giving my API key to third parties. :p

  12. This would be massively useful. A few of my projects are going to be finished soon but I don't really want to delete them...a history/archive for finished projects would be great.

  13. In what ways? I think the current design is one of Todoist's strong points?

  14. Planned, cool.

  15. Yes, I agree.

  16. More details? What exactly would this do? (not familiar with RTM) Todoist already has Gmail integration of sorts...

  17. I agree - an iCal feed would be much better than a plugin. I'm not sure I understand the problems mentioned before - I think all this would need is the due date of the task as the date that the event would come up on the calendar. But I'm not sure really.

  18. I'm not sure if it's something I'd use, but if you did it, it would be nice if it worked with Firefox 3 (which supports offline applications) as well as Google Gears. I'm not giving it a vote though, I don't think I'd have any need for this.

  19. Clearly this is going to be popular, but personally speaking it would be of no use to me, and would clearly involve quite a lot of new coding. I feel such time could be better spent on other features.
