<text>Here are a few additional date field shortcuts for the date field that, I imagine, would be a really easy update for Todoist:

- "End of Month": Automatically makes the last day of the month the deadline for the task.

- "End of Month, [day]": Automatically makes the task deadline set day during the last week of the month. So, if I put "End of Month, Friday", the task deadline would be the friday of the last week of the month, even if the Friday technically falls during the first week of the next month.

- "[#] weeks": Automatically makes the task deadline a set number of weeks into the future, with # replaced by the number of weeks. The day of the week would be the same as the day the task was created, ie if the user creates the task on a Monday then the deadline would also be on a Monday.

- "# weeks,[day]": Automatically makes the task deadline a set number of weeks into the future, with # replaced by the number of weeks, and the day of the week defined by the user. For example, "4 weeks,Friday" would make the deadline the Friday four weeks from the day the entry was created.

- "[#] months": Automatically makes the task deadline a set number of months into the future, with # replaced by the number of months.

- "Reminder": Makes the task deadline indefinite, but includes the task on the "Today" list so that the user has a constant reminder that this is a task they should be thinking about.

- "Reminder, [date] or [# days] or [# months]": Makes the task deadline indefinite but, starting on the date defined by the user, includes the task on the "Today" list so that the user can set a date for a constant reminder to be included on the Today list.

I also thought about a few others, but realize they were redundant. I'm listing them only in case someone else can think of a reason they could be useful:

- "End of week": Redundant since the user can just write "Friday".

- "End of year": Redundant since the user can just write "Dec 31"

- "One year": Redundant since the user can just write "365 days".

- "End of Fiscal": Redundant because the user can just write the date of their fiscal year-end, and difficult to implement because the fiscal year end would have to be added as a user preference.</text>

<text>The Ctrl-left arrow and Ctrl-right arrow shortcuts for moving items left and right in the hierarchy don't work in Chrome. This is a non-standard use of the keys anyway - it is standard in most applications to use these keyboard shortcuts for moving left and right one word at a time within the text. I'd suggest changing the shortcuts to something else - Ctrl-[ and Ctrl-] for example, or Ctrl-, and Ctrl-. </text>
