actually the suggestion would be way more useful if more generic, Its a brilliant Idea, but why stop on weeks? It would be good to put a task to a given month generically too, or a given year!

there are ways of doing it already, changing the inherent behaviour of todoist for this will just give the ones that want it one more way and annoy profoundly the ones that do not.
just mark your current tasks with a label (a single letter label for quickness, like '@c'), and use the existing project/subproject/task/subtask structure. you can then filter your tasks by 'currentness'
heck If I had but a single vote left!, the weeks and months part is kinda redundant too (is already possible to do it with the current system with a diferent syntx if I understood you correctly) but the 'end of month, day' or something like 'last OPEN dayof the month' would be delicious
have it occurred to you that if everyone in the above-mentioned thread had the same idea of `support' we would have hundreds of identical suggestions?
