allow creating tasks on 'query pages'
I have default page set to 'od,tod, tom'. And thus to create a new task I need first to switch to some project's page.
It would be much more smooth if it were possible to create a new task on whatever page you are at (specifying target project in a drop-down, for example)

Absolutely, like jstarka said, just make a way to indicate the project you'd like to add to. Shouldn't be too clunky and will definitely bring welcome functionality to the program.

yes, it breaks your flow of work to remember that you're on a query page, and can't add (or worse, reorder) from there. I understand that a query page is kind of like a static "report" and flexibility shouldn't be expected, but it still would be great.

i agree. even though i've been using it religiously for a while now, i STILL try to create an item above or below in the query view, before i remember i have to switch to that project. also, why can't we move a task into "History" from the query page? i make my appointments into "notes" and would like to be able to move them to history the next day without going to the specific project.

This one always bothered me as well. For a site that is so efficient, this one stands out. Just pop up quick dialog.

This disturbs me from the start. This would save me a lot of time - switch to project page, create task, switch back to 7 days, od. Better to add item and just select the project while entering.

That would be great, especially for those of us with slower connections.
